From Brisbane and over the Darling Downs, the Burnett district and back home. Spring 2014
Our Spring Trip this year was a shortish one, about 1000km, from home we met up with friends Barry and Joan at Rathdowney. From there we popped over the Great Dividing Range to the Darling Downs. A run north as far as Kinbombi Falls and a good slow trip home via Goomeri and Benarkin, a little over two weeks. Click the map to the left to see the route.

Spring in Goomeri – September 2014
Springtime in Southern Queensland can make for a very enjoyable trip…this trip was going to take us out onto the Southern Darling Downs, sometimes called the ‘Salad Bowl’ of Australia due to its very fertile soils. On this trip we were accompanied part of the way by friends Barry and Joan.
